Cybil is a young, strong-willed police officer from a small town called Brahms, located just outside of Silent Hill. Trusting, but far from naive, she wants nothing more than to help people as best she can, even if that means putting herself into dangerous or iffy situations.

Her devotion to justice and the law began at an early age, when her parents and brother were shot and killed by an unidentified man that broke into their house. She clung silently to a small doll, which served as her only comfort during the months that followed.

Years later, she entered the sleepy town of Silent Hill to find out why her station lost contact with the local police, where she met an author by the name of Harry Mason. After hearing that he was looking for his daughter, she loaned him her gun and promised him that she'd help him find her. Her plan didn't quite come to fruition, however -- she was infected with a parasite that caused her to attack Harry, who (thankfully) was able to save her through the use of Aglaophotis.

Upon finding and confronting Dahlia, Cybil and Harry were given a newborn baby by Alessa just before they escape, leaving them to supposedly start anew, together.
